It is obligatory for the Muslims to adopt Islam as the sole ideology for their society, state and constitution

Members of Hizb ut-Tahrir delivered public speeches after Jummah prayers today outside various mosques in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet where they said Islam is the only correct ideology for society. The current Awami-BNP rulers have rejected Islam as the basis in ruling and have instead adopted the so-called ideologies of the founding fathers of their parties, what they term ‘Mujibism' and ‘Ziaism'. They do this in clear violation of Allah's statement:
( وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا أَلْفَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ )
"When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah has revealed:" They say: "Nay! We shall follow the ways of our fathers." Would they do that! Even though their fathers were void of thinking and guidance?" (TMQ Al-Baqarah: 170]
On the one hand, the adherence of these rulers to ignorance and falsehood has made them to neglect looking after the affairs of the people; and poverty, unemployment, price hike etc have become permanent problems in the country, where young men are led to committing suicide to escape the curse of unemployment! On the other hand corruption and treachery have become deep rooted in these rulers such that they have sold their souls to the imperialists. They become enthusiastic when they receive even a slight attention from their masters. Just look at how the BNP chairperson, Khaleda Zia, is jubilant about her meetings with officials in the UK and USA, where she is promising to serve them even better than Sheikh Hasina, if she is brought back to power! We need not mention the crimes and treachery of Hasina, the killer of army officers.
The speakers reminded the musallis that it is obligatory for the Muslims to adopt Islam as the sole ideology for their society, state and constitution. The state, its constitution and all laws in society must be based upon the Qur'an and Sunnah. The Khilafah ruling system is an integral part of Islam, which the Muslims must re-establish. The Muslims are given no option in this matter such that they can chose to either accept or reject; rather it is a duty demanded by the Muslims' iman.
(إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَنْ يَقُولُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ الْمُفْلِحُونَ)
"The only saying of the believers, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to rule between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey," and such are the successful." (TMQ An-Nur: 51)
